The Hibiscus House

Welcome to the "Hibiscus House". This was our first endeavor into the hosting arena. Obviously we liked it. Back then I didn't know what a normal "AirBnB" was. So I set out to make a vacation space that I would want to visit. Since we didn't actually create a new account, but rather picked up the one that dad had already created, we had a lot of ground to make up. As he slipped into the grips of dementia he was not a good host.
The Hibiscus House will sleep a family/ party of 6 comfortable. We always caution anything more than 4 adults that it does only have one small bathroom. But other than that, we pack a lot of living space into that small area. There is an ample cook stove with an oven, a small fridge that leaves room for an RV sized stacked washer and dryer.
Here is where the idea of a "coffee cart" became Kristy's brilliant stroke of genius. She would ultimately be the one to discover the water cooler with a Keurig. You wil not lack for space to cook meals and eat around the butcher block counter.
Of course if you are there during the summer season, you will enjoy Kristy's green thumb and her hibiscus highlighted arrangements will make you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. Of course where you are is a few hundred yards away from one of the North coasts most recognized private beaches.
The Hibiscus House is made up of a queen bed that we bought after much consideration. We know that a a great night sleep is key to a great day at play. The other bedroom is 4 twin bunks. the two lower bunks have memory foam mattresses for the guests who chose comfort over the adventure of the top bunk.
Of course, just like every one of our offerings at Offshore Breeze Vacation Homes there is a full complement of bedding, linens, and beach towels.
You could Technically show up and not even leave the house for a few days if you don't mind eating ramen noodles, soup, and drinking water. But that is not why you are here, Did we mention the welcoming sandy beach. We have so many options to help you enjoy the beach and lake. From chairs, shades, and beach blanket to knee boards, floaties, and life jackets. And let's not forget the "beach glass" kits Kristy put together that have been a huge hit in the past year. Plus there is a Tennis court for which we have pickleball equipment, and a basketball court for which we have the ball, as well as grass where a volleyball net often gets erected.
While we expect most families are destined for at least one day at Cedar Point, there is much to do in the surrounding area. Nestled exactly in between the lake and river side towns of Vermilion to the East and Huron to the West, you will find welcoming communities for visitors who are hungry for exploration as much as they are food. However with the regionally renowned "Angry Bull Steakhouse" and the world respected 5 star "Chez Francois" as well as endless specialty and pub joints in between, you will only go hungry is you want to.
the sunsets over "The Point" are a nature provided amenity that you just can't get anywhere else in the world.
So come aboard and experience an "AirBnB" like no other you have stayed at or even heard of from your friends.
